Russia Africa Summit, Putin proposes Russian Language to be taught in African Schools, Offers no-cost Grain to Six African Countries and Increases the number of African Students studying in Russia.



President Putin says Russia will increase Sponsorship for African students studying in Russia. Most of these students are in medicine, engineering etc.

Studying the Russian language in African schools could help boost African economies by fostering stronger economic and diplomatic ties between African nations and Russia. As Russia is a major global player with significant economic resources, technological advancements, and expertise in various sectors, having a proficient understanding of the Russian language would enable African countries to engage in direct trade, investment, and knowledge exchange with Russia.

This enhanced communication and collaboration can lead to increased foreign direct investment, access to advanced technology and industries, and potential partnerships in areas like energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and education. Moreover, as Africa's economy continues to grow and diversify, having a workforce fluent in Russian would open up new opportunities for African businesses to penetrate the Russian market, creating a win-win situation for both regions and contributing to Africa's overall economic development.
