Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department, National Crime Intelligence and a Private Security Company Have arrested suspected murder of Officer at Thokoza



A suspect sought for the murder of an officer during a robbery was arrested in Thokoza on Monday, 24 July 2023.

The EMPD, together with National Crime Intelligence and a private security company located the 27-year-old suspect who was in possession of an unlicensed firearm with filed-off serial numbers.

He was detained at the Thokoza Police Station, charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and will appear in court next week after all evidence has been gathered.
